No Run Command on Start Menu

One of my earlier post you need the Run Command on your Start Menu.
If you Don't have it then the way to get it as below:

1. Right Click on the Start Button.

2. Go to Properties.

3. Select Start menu [By Default it should selected].

4. Click on Customize.5. On Customize Start Menu go to Advanced Tab.

6. Now Scroll Down in the Start menu items:

7. Find the Run Command.

8. Check before Run Command.

9. Click OK to go back Start Menu Properties.

10. Click OK.

11. Click Start menu and you got the Run Command.

Red said... I have tried this with no option to change the run command status in either XP or Classic view. I have also fixed this promlem myself in the past with your method or by doing a Ctrl/alt/del and bringing up task manager,
click on file and in the drop down click on "new task (run)" and in this box type %windir%\system32\cmd.exe (or alternately I found
instead of cmd.exe you can also type gpedit.msc) and then if in the command prompt you can bring up regedit and hit the F3 key and search for norun and change the registry value or locate the no run command on start menu policy in gpedit and change it to not configured. I have
fixed this problem before with both of these methods. But back up a little, this time I could not even do that because when I clicked on
File on the task manager, I did not get the option of "new task (run)" All I get is "exit task manager" so now what do I do. The above is all different ways I have fixed this problem of no run command on the start menu in the past and none of them are available to use now. Any new ideas how I can fix this?
